Farm project handed over in Mullaitivu

Was in Mullaitivu with my wife to hand over the Cattle farm project officially to Sankami, an organisation which has been helping widows affected by war in that area. A total of Rs 10,026,500 ($9,000) was donated to them by my foundation to finish the first phase of the project, which is to clear the land, build a deep well & fence the 2 1/2 acres. Once completed, the farm will provide sustainable income for 10 female headed families. I wish the very best to all of the beneficiaries + families and thank Mrs. Shanthi Sriskandarasa, MP for Mullaitivu for identifying Sankami Pengal Ondrium.
