Together, we have saved 100 Lives! The celebration of crossing 100 life-saving Heart surgeries was celebrated @ the Lanka Hospital on the 4th of March with many of our beneficiaries who had surgeries before coming to Colombo from across the country to participate in the event. Vaishnavi Nishanthan, a 12-year-old girl (Muhamalai, Killinochchi) suffering from severe heart disease since the time of her birth, had a successful open-heart surgery. It was an honor to have Mr. Daniel Bood, the Political and Trade Counsellor at the Canadian High Commission as the Chief Guest for our event.
